Benjamin Scott

Benjamin was born into a dynasty of Junk men, dating back to the days when John, Paul, George and Ringo were still fresh-faced nice young men.

Throughout childhood, Benjamin toured the globe with his parents Ron and Sue, owners of R G Scott Furniture Mart, buying and selling various junk.

As he grew older, his interest in bits and bobs of a bygone time grew into an insatiable hunger in his belly. It came to fruition in May '06 when, at the ripe old age of 22, he opened the doors of Junk Deluxe for the first time. Benjamin is unsure what he wants to do when he grows up.

Sarah Vickery

Sarah was born and raised in the dank, stinky, polluted, noisy, unfriendly hove known simply by us seasiders as London. Until the age of a dozen years old, Sarah had never seen a sunset, as the thick 'Pea-Souper' smog was constantly encapsulating her, like a frog in a sock.

One glorious day, Sarah was afforded the luxury of a trip to the land of milk and honey; Sunny Margate. The sun shone, the birds chirped and the air was clear, from that day on, Sarah made it her life's mission to one day reside in Margate.

After years of working her dirty fingers to the bone, and enduring such London icons as black bogies, red eyes and the blackwall tunnel, Sarah finally found the means to escape the ghetto and migrate the Vickeries to Sunny Margate.

To leap this tale bang up to date, Sarah now has her finger is virtually any Margate pie going. She is actively involved in both the local art scene, and the Save Dreamland Campaign. She is the owner of two local businesses; The Shell Grotto and Twentieth Century Frocks.
